The Humble Administrators Garden in Suzhou
uzhous Humble Administrators Garden, or Zhuozheng Yuan, is a masterpiece of classical Chinese garden design and one of the most famous gardens in China. Located in the historic city of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, this UNESCO World Heritage Site dates back to the early 16th century during the Ming Dynasty. It was created by a retired government official, Wang Xianchen, as a private retreat, embodying the essence of traditional Chinese aesthetics and philosophy.
Covering about 5.2 hectares, the garden is a harmonious blend of natural landscapes and architectural elements.
